Serendipity

Amidst the gushing
waves of faces
A million words,
a thousand places
Obscured by
Some thoughtless thoughts
Swaddled in
some meaningless talks
Hopeless hopes
dizzying delusions
an endless stretch of
snarling confusions

And there within
The vain existence
A lightening sparked
Dazzling radiance
an electrifying fusion
A delectable blend
Of being and illusion
Astounding
With an infallibility
Satiating
With an amorous eloquence

Only to bid farewell
To an unsatiated existence

Strawberry Dreams

Sweet
Like your sugary touch
Appetizing

Smooth
Like your creamy thoughts
Irresistible

Succulent
Like your delectable aura
Scrumptious

Balmy
Like your aromatic words
Intoxicating

Dewy
Like your crispy charm
Refreshing

My strawberry dreams
A mouthful of ecstasy
Assimilating
into a tangy aftertaste of reality

Much like your surrealistic perfection
Consumed
Into a razor-sharp sense of sensibility

Today is the day...

I just got time to check my horoscope. ITS AWESOME.
It said, if you can imagine it, you can have it. So let me think what I want to have in life......

I see myself driving the most expensive sports car, convertible and drive all night at the speed that no laws allow :) its a silver sleek model convertible with heavy tires and flashing lights. the zooming sounds and speed of light...wooooooooow....and i see my self in coolest clothes and lots of friends partying

Then i see my self studying at Cambridge or oxford or Harvard taking the courses, studying and making assignments delivering lectures seminars in the halls and lecture theaters that are over crowded to the capacity and listening to ME. Woooooow....like Robert Langdon in Da Vinci Code......I wana be there.

Then I see myself in a graaaaaaaaaand luxury room, exquisitely decorated in whites pearls and grays with the most handsome of the men. I see myself married in a perfect relationship, enjoying sports, life and vacations together. throwing grand parties, going to the beaches of the world, shopping eating out and doing the craziest of things with my partner.

Then I see myself speaking to a huge crowd, on receiving Nobel peace prize or the Booker Prize or the Pulitzer prize. I want to do something SOOOOOOO big, especially something for the world peace that it makes a difference to the world.

Director's Cut

My earliest childhood dream was to become a Secret Agent, all thanks to those suspense stories and Nancy Drew novels that were my first reads as a kid. I was thoroughly impressed by the smartness and thrill of all those fictitious characters. They were my idols.
And then I grew up, and so did my idols. From secret services, my imagination shifted to sportsmen. I aspired to be world's number one tennis player or something like that. To touch the glory in my own way and let the world know of it. My parents, not entirely oblivious of my dreams, realized that my being a secret agent was too far a cry and living in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, amidst the social structure that hardly allowed women to take up jobs like this; decided to train me in more worldly and apt disciplines. And so started my degree in Economics. I enjoyed learning about policies and stuff, but deep inside me there was this adventurous soul waiting to be recognized.
And then it so happened that I got into media. Before I finished my degree, i was employed by the biggest TV channel in the country. Not knowing where the chance might lead me, i became a creative writer. It gave me ample energy and pleasure to work in the glitzy media industry, no timings to follow, no work routine, just doing whatever I wanted to, whenever I wanted to. From copy writing, to content management to producing my own show, I am just loving it.
